Sebastian worked as a software engineer for the past 10 years leading small teams and projects primarily in the finance sector. Through his military career he gained exposure to cyber security and privacy and was fascinated - and shocked by the absence of - the later. Lately he has switched his focus on AI research (as many others have too).
This tragic eulogy, delivered mostly as a comedy, follows Sebastian‘s personal privacy journey as he explains which events made him aware these privacy issues, what tools/tactics/solutions he used to overcome them, how effective they were and what the tradeoffs were for said solutions. Eventually, he elaborates on why his privacy finally died and what he will do going forward.
