From Chaos to Clarity: Disarming Toxic Behavior – A Guide to better Collaboration
Conference (BEGINNER level)

Toxic behavior—whether from organizations, colleagues, or even ourselves—is an invisible threat to our productivity and creativity. But what happens when we realize we have the power to change these dynamics? This talk, inspired by a former master of chaos known from comics and films, draws on her expertise to disarm toxic behavior and explore its various forms and impacts. With our ex-victim, we will examine the subtle and overt behaviors that sabotage us and our teams.

In a time when change has become the new normal, and diversity is the key to innovation and success, it’s crucial to combat toxic behavior with full force. The very diversity that is so valuable holds the potential for misunderstandings, tensions, and conflicts—often leading to harmful behavior. Toxic behaviors undermine the success of teams and organizations by stifling creativity, destroying trust, and building barriers between people.

What makes toxic behavior so damaging? How can we recognize it—not just in others but also in ourselves? Most importantly, how do we disarm it to create a more creative, productive, and healthier work environment? With a touch of humor, sharp analysis, and a clear focus on change, we’ll target toxic behavior and take the first step toward a healthier, more diverse workplace where we can all thrive.
